The Prince of Wales, who toured the city during his solo visit, looked happy as he mingled with model and fashion icon Winnie Harlow and actor Billy Porter at Cork Bay Harbour on his final day in the country. Reports say William has also extended an invitation to model and TV presenter Heidi Klum, allowing her to learn more about sustainable fishing practices.
During the event at the harbour, the group took part in discussions about the upcoming fourth annual Earthshot Awards, which are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 6. In a viral video from the gathering, they can be seen preparing a traditional South African barbecue known as a "braai".
Prince William arrived in the bay by lifeboat after earlier visiting the lifeguards of the National Sea Life Saving Institute. A crowd of enthusiastic locals welcomed him to the beach, leading to an impromptu walk.
The prince mingled with hundreds of residents gathered around the fishermen's stalls, eager to catch a glimpse of the royal family. He also received some pearl key chains from a local woman, engraved with the letters "W" and "C", along with three others for children.
