The royal couple joined British ambassador to France Edward Llewellyn and his wife and Llewellyn at the Black Last Dinner, a gala dinner that took place at the British ambassador's residence in Paris also known as the hotel de charist, the couple visited the city for two days at the request of the foreign and Commonwealth offices.
The gala was their third engagement since arriving in the city. A number of celebrities with French and British connections attended the gala including French actors Audrey tortu and actor Jean Reno British Dane Kristen Scott Thomas currently lives in Paris.
