On Thursday, he attended the Homelessness Reform Exhibition at the Wrong Gallery in London, where he looked visibly sad as he walked alone. This summer marks the first time in eight years that Prince William has sported a beard.

He appeared with a beard in a video released on August 11 to celebrate Team GB's achievements at the 2024 Paris Olympics. In contrast, his brother, Prince Harry, who recently visited St. Cyric's Church near Balmoral Castle, did not sport a beard on that trip.

Harry's most recent public appearance came after a reunion in Norfolk for their uncle's funeral, where the two royals had a chance to mingle but ultimately kept their distance and did not speak to each other despite being in the same place.
